The Royal George
Lovely big and clean room. Mini fridge had cold water and some milk to use with the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The welcome and ambience were excellent. The food was superb. The view was outstanding. I wholly recommend staying and dining here.

18th Century Cottage On Waterfront, Panoramic Sea Views, Courtyard Garden
A charming cottage with a superb view of the estuary. We enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the boats go back and forth. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable.

Catboat Cottage: a stone's throw from the beach. Shops & pubs are 2 minute walk.
We were hoping for a holiday cottage in a location where we didn't have to drive everyday to be somewhere interesting. Appledore is a perfect little village/town for a quiet holiday but it still feels alive with plenty of people around and activities going on. We enjoyed seeing locals going out on ...
