"Cosy feeling pub. Fantastic food. Nicely furnished cosy rooms but limited plugs for phone charging etc. We were in the room at the front above the pub, quite noisy from the pub below at night could make it difficult for some to sleep. Staff were welcoming and helpful."

"Cottage lovely and warm when we arrived. Could not get our heads around the wood burn. Bed is a touch low and bottom frame and drawers under bed likely to cause serious damage to toes and feet.Was very cosy."

"Very convenient for town and only a few steps away from the Royal Oak pub. Stayed here as my mother lives around the corner. Would recommend. Easy access to the A66 and the Lakes only 40 minutes away. Locals very friendly."

"Firstly the pictures do not show the true beauty of the amazing cottage , everything you will need and more is here for you to enjoy , from the interior to the exterior surrounding. a great place to stay for our Daughters wedding at Eden Barn. Not forgetting the great welcome from the owners. if you love walking this is the place to be ,miles of hidden tracks and small welcoming pubs after your 2 or 3 hours walking. Great Asby is one lovely hidden village. We will love to stay here again. Roger...
