"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat."

"House was very clean and well presented. It is off-road. All amenities functioned with handy guide book and Alexa to help.Communication throughout was very effective. Location was quiet but within 200m of a very nice pub/rrestaurant. Near to Kirby Lonsdale with many eating places and pubs. Private parking. "

"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall,...

"Stayed for 1 night end of December really close to the main road where all the shops and restaurants are and only about 15 mins walk to lake front. Definitely recommend "

"What a fantastic cottage with everything we could have needed. Very homely and it was such a nice touch to arrive with the heating and lights on. Just a short walk into Windermere so was perfect for the whole family. The dog settled really well and our 6 year old son said it was the place place he'd ever stayed! The owner was super accommodating when we needed a late check-out due to the heavy snow. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming...

"Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

"This is an excellent property, clean and welcoming, full range of modern appliances, internet access etc.Very comfortable and we had a great time.My only niggle is that there is no coffee machine/cafetière so no coffee in the morning.. if this could be added the house would be perfect.."
