"The stay was relaxing and tucked away up on the top of the mountain. Everything we needed to cook and we enjoyed the warm welcome with a bottle of wine & chocolate. The deck was my favorite part, plenty of room and comfortable patio furniture, our puppy loved the plush woods and the small trail to a picnic area. You definitely need a vehicle to climb ruff terrain, steep hills, and sharp turns. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, thank you Matt and Chris!"

"My family of 5 (3 teenagers) had a great stay at this quiet property. We had the feeling of being in a very secluded spot, but Blowing Rock and its attractions are only a short drive away. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent a day at the Cumberland Gap. We concluded each day in the hot tub, watching the clouds form over the mountains. "I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. "

"😃 The cabin has comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, great for colder days! the kitchen has new utensils and appliances. outside there's a nice fire pit, great for hot chocolate and marshmallows! Excellent location and incredible river view. we love to stay in the cabin for 4 days, we'll definitely be back! Suggestion: a hot tub would make the cabin perfect! 😕deep cleaning in the bathrooms, watch out for spider web."

" The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again."
