Villa Lefkothea is located minutes’ drive from the charming village of Georgioupoli, where you can indulge in local tavernas and a selection of shops and bars. Just 15 minutes’ walk from the villa is a local café and a restaurant, or, if you’re seeking a meal with a picturesque view, head to Lake Kournas and gaze at the of natural beauty where turtles are nesting and relish a meal at one of the excellent family-run tavernas. The larger city of Rethymnon with its old Venetian town is 30 minutes’ drive from the villa, and Chania, with its mix between modern and historical places is only 40 minutes’ drive away.
