Villa Athina is ideal for those who want to have quiet and relaxed vacation, near the sea but distanced from noisy hotels and cities as it is located in the small village of Asproulianos.

This large 125 square meter ground floor villa can accommodate 6 guests with ease. The villa has three air conditioned bedrooms with spacious closets, an open plan kitchen and living area with a flat screen TV and fire place, and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and all necessary cutlery and crockery. The exterior grounds have a well-kept garden and a swimming pool with sun loungers (kindly note that the pool is shared with the adjacent house). Private parking space is also provided for. Other house facilities include a washing machine, steam iron and ironing board. Wireless internet covers all house areas. Baby cots and high chairs can be provided on request.

The sandy beach of Georgioupolis, one of the longest in Crete, is just 1 km away from the villa and is accessible by car or on foot (10 to 15 minutes walk). The beach is fully organized with sun loungers and umbrellas and there are restaurants and cafeterias along the beach road where you can enjoy your meal or a refreshment. Near to Villa Athina, at 1,5 km distance, in the village of Paralia Kourna, one can find all the necessary stores such as a grocery store, pharmacy and gasoline station. At the small and popular coastal town of Georgioupolis, just 3.5 km from the villa, one can find a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, ATM, restaurants, cafes and of course the beach of Georgioupolis. Just 5 km away is the beautiful lake of Kourna where one can enjoy a dinner at one of the many restaurants along the lake front. The city and Venetian old town of Rethymno is 20 km to the east while the city and Venetian harbor of Chania is 40 km to the west. The nearest airport is the Chania Airport (CHQ), 50 km away and Heraklion Airport (HER) is 101 km away from the villa.
