The Bee Hive is a newly addition to Apalachicola Vacation Rental properties. One year old, this roomy 1 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom private apartment is in mint condition with many amenities. It is located on the 2nd floor, downtown Apalachicola, off the beaten path - but only 1/2 block from our local brewery. The kitchen is well appointed, the living room is cozy and the bedroom has a king bed with dresser. Come relax on our porches, enjoy a touch of a river view and make this your perfect getaway.

Great Location

The home was great. The fact that you can walk to everything in Apalachicola is fantastic. Other than going out to St George Island we never had to start the car. 2 breweries (soon to be 3), restaurants, bars, and shopping all within a couple of blocks. We had a great time!

Wonderful spot in Apalachicola!

We came down for an extended weekend and it was the perfect spot for us! It was walking distance to everything and the place way great! We were greeted with a bottle of wine and coffee from the store below which was so good! I am an artist and loved the artwork on the walls. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our accommodations! The space was very clean and comfortable. Nice touches like fresh flowers on the kitchen island when we walked in, a bottle of wine, and coffee. We were able to walk to all of our favorite restaurants, watering holes, and stores. Patti was very helpful and gracious! We canā€™t wait to come back!

Great place, fantastic host, convenient location!

We booked this loft for our daughter and son-in-law to stay in for a couple of nights after their wedding until they left for their honeymoon. It was great!! The host was so sweet, she even had flowers and chocolate to congratulate them on their marriage. The place was super clean. It would be great for a week stay or a short stay like theirs. It is in a very convenient location. They especially love the porch.

Excellent rental

We visited Apalachicola and St George Island for a weekend trip and loved this lift rental. Patti was wonderful to work with and had everything just perfect in the rental. Thereā€™s not one thing she forgot. The location was within walking distance for the entire little town. St George island was a short and easy drive. We will definitely want to stay there again. I highly recommend this cute little place.

Apalachicola Visit June 2022

This is an excellent rental property that is centrally located. Easy to walk to everything Apalachicola has to offer. The rental is extremely clean and thoughtful touches abound. If you have mobility issues the entrance stairs may be too steep. We had no problems and loved everything about the property. Highly recommended.

Location was awesome. Right down stairs was a great restaurant and awesome gift shop. Two minute walk from the best coffee shop( also some really good Carmel bites). Definitely would recommend to stay at again.

Great Getaway ā€¦

The Bee Hive was the perfect location and size for a winter getaway with our bikes. Patty was very accommodating, walking distance to shops and restaurants, the bed was very comfortable, nice thick towels and the highlight was the deck ā€¦ we loved sitting outside day and night. Already planning our next trip to Apalachicola.

Perfect visit

The Beehive is a perfect spot for a stay in Apalachicola! Conveniently located a block from downtown and the water, we walked everywhere. The apartment itself was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The bed was SO comfortable and the bath towels were great. Having a washer and dryer was extra nice, too. The front balcony was a great spot to relax and you can get a peek at the bay. Patti was delightful and so easy to communicate with. The welcome bottle of wine was a sweet surprise also! We will definitely stay at the Beehive again!

Apalachicola get away

This place is great! It has two wonderful porches and is easy walking distance from downtown, the waterfront etc. We had an issue with the AC and the owners were on it immediately. They were so helpful and found us another place to stay while it was repaired. This has one and a half baths which would be really handy if you have another couple with you. The kitchen was beautiful with anything you could need. We loved our stay and I would highly recommend this location. Lisa

Wonderful property

Excellent property, just as described. Parking was right by the door. The rental had things we didnt even think to pack, like Ziploc bags and laundry detergent. We loved that the kitchen came stocked with some fancy coffee and wine. Even though we didnt actually drink it, we thought it was a wonderful touch that made us feel like the owners cared. We didnt get a chance to check out the downstairs shop, but we will check it out when we go back (hopefully staying at this property again)!
