"Martinborough is a great place for wine lovers! The hotel has a good location amongst vineyards. You can ride a bike to most of the wineries. Rooms are big, very comfortable, very nicely furnished and have a great hot tub! Also the kitchen is very well equipped and there is complimentary expresso coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with many options of fresh fruit, eggs, toasts etc. Although the rooms were very clean, they maybe should pay a little more attention to the outside...

"We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown!...

Might be a bit cold in winter because it’s so huge, but there are two open fires as well as heaters, and wood provided so could be nice and cozy too once fired up. Hot tub is an inflatable one and smallish, but still lovely to have. "

"A relaxing vibe. It was hot so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The kids were easy to watch, and didn’t want to go anywhere else. The dog loved it. "It was the perfect house for us. I stayed there with my three school-age grandkids. There were lots of games, activities and bikes etc for them and plenty of room to spread out. We initially had a problem with the TV but the owner, who lives nearby, promptly came and fixed it. Great Service!!"

"We had an absolutely amazing stay! The accommodation was perfect for our group of 8 friends and our dog — spacious, clean, and super cozy. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. "The bach was in excellent condition, incredibly clean, and had everything you could need. Andy and Lea thought of the smallest details to ensure we had everything we needed. Lake Ferry is a stunning little town, gorgeous sunset and great fish and chips at the Lake Ferry Hotel. Right on the doorstep of Cape Palliser and even more stunning scenery. Would highly recommend this region and this bach to stay in. Definitely visit the Land Girl café just 10 mins up the road for an excellent coffee. "
