"One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. "We stayed here as it was close to Mystery creek for Fieldays and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and well maintained. It was excellent value for money overall. The motel was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days walking around Fieldays. The spa pool was a real highlight, absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed to unwind. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for...

"Outstanding property in an excellent location. Would have been 5 stars except for the bed. The mattress looked like it was 20 years old, fabric all sagging and stretched - the springs were way past best by date and offered absolutely no support. My hips were sunk down low and I had a sore back plus very little sleep. Very disappointing. Why have a bed in this condition for an executive property? This was our "honeymoon""

"We 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore this stunning part of NZ. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive to any questions and requests.Would love to return here soon. "

"If you are looking for a place where you don't get any services other than house cleaning. Then you will be happy here. I like the rooms and I stayed mostly during the week so it was quite which I like. It's cold time of year so I didn't try the pools because they are both out doors. Parking is for one vehicle per room and they are not allowed pet's which is on the website. The reception was closed alot so if you needed assistance it's not helpful. I was happy doing my own thing though."
