This farm dates back from the XIX century. It is recently renovated and now serves as a holiday accommodation. The farm is divided into 4 spacious apartments. The farm is built in the traditional style of Andalusia which shows in for example the spacious patio of 300 m². The apartments combine in a harmonious way with the rural environment.

There is a beautiful view over la Peña de los Enamorades and the village of Antequera which is situated at just 6 km. La Peña de los Enamorades (The Pain of the Lovers) is a mountain shaped in such a way that when looking at it from the side it seems to have the shape of a face. The story goes that during the Arab domination a Moorish girl and a Christian guy fell in love, but this turned out to be an impossible love. Out of desperation they threw themselves of the mountain.

In total, in the 4 apartments 20 persons can stay and 3 baby beds can be added upon request. On the ground floor there is an apartment with two bedrooms with each two single beds. The other apartment which is situated on the ground floor has three bedrooms with each two single beds. The apartment on the first floor has three bedrooms, each bedroom having two single beds. The second apartment on the first floor has two bedrooms with two single beds in each bedroom. In total there are 10 bedrooms available with 20 single beds.

The Cortijo is open for a minimum of 10 people, who would occupy only the two apartments on the ground floor. In the event that you are 10 people or less and you also want to use one of the apartments on the top floor, you must pay at least the price of 14 people. Likewise, if there are 14 people or less and you want to enjoy the 4 apartments, you must pay at least the price of 18 people. If there are 18 guests or more, the price is the one indicated according to the number of people.

Every apartment has its own kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a terrace. There is heating through gasoil, there is Wi-Fi available and the apartments dispose over a washing machine. The water is heated through solar panels and is drinkable.

The two-bedroom ground-floor apartment has a dishwasher.

Outside the apartment there is a parking lot, a big patio with swimming pool, a common space and two portable barbecues.

The city of Antequera is situated at about 509 meters above sea-level. From Antequera you can visit places like La Vega, the marches of El Chorro and the nature reserve El Torcal de Antequera. In Antequera you find many monuments that remind of the history of Andalusia and date back from the Visigoths, the Romans and the Muslims. Next to this you will find many architectonic places of interest dating back from the Renaissance and the baroque. Here, you find for example the Dolmes of Menga, Viera and El Romeral, La Real Colegiata Santa Maria Mayor de San Sebastian, the interior of the Convento de Carmen and the Alcazaba. There is also a shopping mall with cinema.

At 51 km distance you find the second city of Andalusia, named Malaga. The bathing site Nerja and her beaches are to be found at about 102 km, the natural reserve El Torcal de Antequera at 14 km, Laguna de Fuente de Piedra at 33 km, el Desfiladero de los Gaitanas at 31 km, the mountains of Malaga at 40 km and the airport of Malaga at 59 km.

Antequera is the heart of Andalusia. It is a typical ´pueblo blanco´ a white village which Andalusia is known for. The big cities of Andalusia are easily reachable from Antequera. Granada is at 102 km, Cordoba at 115 km and Seville at 160 km.

In order to visit the surrounding cities and villages you can use the bus, which goes regularly. At 17 km from the center there is a train station named Antequera – Santa Ana. From here high speed links connect Antequera with the big cities inside and outside Andalusia like Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and Madrid.
