"We came to Alabama for my birthday yo visit family. The home is beautiful and the most comfortable and well stocked home i have ever stayed in!! Everything was clean and the coffee bar made my stay!! The owner is lovely. She even added a birthday sign for me. ❤️ The home is close to tons of eating and shopping options but in a quiet neighborhood. Best of both worlds. Theres even a fire pit area! We didn't get to do that but this will not be our last stay here. It definitely felt like a home away...

"Where do I start? The 90 mile paved Chief Ladiga / Silver Comet trail in the Talledega National Forest - beautiful!, the Pinhoti Trail that leads to the A.T. Less than 1/4 mile away! - Dugger Mountain Guns And Fudge Shop in Piedmont - if you like fudge or chicken salad (YES the BEST homemade sandwich’s), Sugarless Sweets in Cedartown - a gluten free sugarless bakery to die for and Bloomin Miracles - a small Japanese maple nursery with over 100 available varieties at AMAZING prices! AND the fire...

"It was a perfect place for our family of 12 to enjoy the lake and each other! Everything was great except for the road getting in and out! Pretty rough! The added touch of fresh flowers was awesome!"

"After 3 days riding cross country, 5 motorcyclists spent a great 3 nights at "The House On The Lake". Wonderful place, lots of charm and loads of lakeside deck...and our own pier! The covered parking was a huge bonus. Nice place to clean the bikes and keep them out of the elements. Surrounded on three sides by water on a placid lake - it was a terrific place to recharge. Highly recommended!"

"House is unique - nice furnishings, comfortable, charming interior. Beautiful views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get to the house and lots of stairs getting down to the water. AC wasn’t working. Knob of main bath shower fell off so we had to use the guest bathroom for showering."

"Overall the stay was wonderful. The deck was my favorite location. HOWEVER, it was infested with spiders. They covered everything from floor to ceiling. I didnt notice them inside the rental."
