"Everything is described as it is. I love this place. We came here for my 45th birthday. Walked up to the door, opened it and immediately impressed. Smells clean, new. "My husband and I just wanted a quiet get away to do absolutely nothing. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of our jobs and home. I wanted to read a book, and he loves to fish. "My friend and I booked this place as a getaway for the weekend. It was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice. Kathy has thought of everything to make staying here amazing. There are numerous places to relax - outdoor patio, dining area that includes a sitting area with beautiful views of the patio, multiple seating in living room and kitchen areas, and a pub top table with stools in the pool table area. Everything was super clean and well organized. The beds and linens were comfortable....

"The cabin was perfect, neat and clean, it had all we needed for the stay. This will be a perfect place to spend with family away from busy schedule, host was very friendly and kind, replies fast. "Had a great, but too brief of a stay, at Linda and Jon's cabin. Very comfortable. Just wish the vegetable garden was ready for harvest. While the cabin appears isolated at first glance, it is actually very convenient to Kroger, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay there again, if passing through Carbondale. "
