Beach Basket Cottage: Cute Old Florida Style Beach Cottage just steps to the Beach!

Beach Basket is a 1920's cottage located on Oak Ave which dead ends to the white sandy beaches and emerald waters of Anna Maria Island. You are just 5 homes (325 ft.) or a 53 second walk to the sounds of the surf, birds and lots of sunshine! This cottage was restored by a professional interior decorator and kept the classic cottage look. The details in this cute cottage are incredible, from ceiling accents, bead board cabinets with glass doors, to the comfortable furnishings by the Pink Pineapple.

The beachy feel continues into both the king master ensuite with a seating area that leads to the bright and sunny master bath and the queen suite which has an entrance to the pool area where you will find tropical landscaping. Having an occasional guest or bringing the grandchildren? The air conditioned sleeping porch has 2 twins and is a perfect place for them or a peaceful nook to relax and read a good book!

The property perfectly accommodated our family of 5. Perfect location to the beach and shops. We biked and walked anywhere we needed, which allowed the kids from to explore on their own. The house was well stocked. The beach buggy, chairs and umbrella were great! Loved our stay! Propert Managers were very helpful.

The beach basket cottage was perfect for our family of 6! It was clean, well stocked, and in a great location! It was a little cozy for all 6 of us, but we made it work and the location and communication more than made up for it. Great stay!!

This was our second visit to this home. Love the old Florida feel. Kitchen fully stocked. Pool was great! Would have like pool temperature a little warmer but not a big deal. Canā€™t wait to stay again!

We spent a week here over Christmas and it was the most relaxing week ever! The house itself is seriously just steps from the gulf, you over the little bridge and boom! Open beach with stunning views of the gulf. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, spacious enough for the 4 of us, and both kids had their own rooms. The 3rd room is no necessarily a bedroom, but has two single beds so plenty of space if you had the need for 2 kids to sleep in there. You will need to bring condiments and spices (there was pepper and salt) and will need to purchase some extra toilet paper and paper towel and garbage bags if there a week or more. Very quiet neighborhood with walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We had great communication with the property manager who was so nice and helpful. I would stay here again and again! Nothing negative to say!

The Beach Basket is a charming old Florida home that has everything you could possibly need for a great week at the beach. It's conveniently located to all the great shops and restaurants. It's just a few steps away from the beach. The house is adorable and filled with games, books and everything you could need in the kitchen. Having our own pool was also a big plus. So pack your bathing suit and enjoy!

What a lovely rental. The location to the beach was fantastic and the house was exactly as advertised and then some! We loved how stocked the house was with everything you could think of. The decorations throughout were terrific and it was very comfortable.

This house is perfect! Charming cottage decorated nicely. Stocked with all you need if flying in from out of town. Beach chairs, towels and beach buggy were perfect. House was clean and well stocked with extras of everything! Perfect location to beach and close to the Main Street with shopping. Short walk to the beach- not really even a walk. Itā€™s right there! Beach was not crowded when we visited in December over Christmas. Beautiful beaches and very clean area. Donā€™t hesitate to book the beach basket! We liked t is area better than Holmes or Bradenton beach.

We loved this vintage beach home and all itā€™s super cute decor. Great location with everything you need. Plus the home was very clean with comfortable master bedroom. Our only issue was the pool was very cold. I contacted the host and she had the heater turned on the next day. It still was cold even with 90 degree days. Iā€™m not sure the heater works. We still had a great time!!

The beach basket was a wonderful place to stay. The perfect location on the island! We enjoyed being close to pine street, slims, and etc. We also loved the short walk from the beach! Perfect house for two families with teens and toddlers. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The house provided beach towels, boogies boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys. There was even a wagon to make the trip even easier. We had a blast and would definitely recommend staying at this house!

Beach Basket was a fabulous property. The pool was wonderful and a perfect size for our family.--and it was heated! The interior was great and very comfortable. The house was well-stocked for the beach--everything you need. Suzanne was great to work with as well. We'd definitely rent this property again.
