"We had a short but fun visit in Dyers house. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The owners also told us about the Antarctic Center at Christchurch Airport which is definitely worth a visit."

"We were truly delighted by our stay at the Observatory. In addition to being centrally located, the hotel is part of an arts center that has been reconstructed/renovated from the Christchurch earthquakes. The history is fascinating! We were treated well and felt welcome. Falling int the feather bed was like a dream after a long trip! "Great location, so convenient to get around, city tram is literally downstairs, easy to catch buses to airport too (#8 and #29) and will definitely stay here again.
Staff are very friendly and helpful; love the welcome drink at the bar; lovely greeting card and sweet macaroons in the room on arrival.
Tip - politely request the room facing the stadium, and you will be amazed with the view.

Quarto de bom tamanho , porém com pouco espaço para guardar as roupas. Muitas delas tiveram de serem deitadas dentro das malas."
"The hotel was clean, well-kept and had all the amenities myself and my partner could possibly need, and the staff were a pleasure to interact with.
The location itself was brilliant, a short 3-5 min walk to the centre of town, and right across the road from the town hall, where we attended a concert during our stay. Another brilliant stay in a Quest hotel, and we will definitely be back some time soon."
