"The Ocotillo was exactly what we were looking for when we visited Joshua Tree. It's a lovely, relaxing property very near the park. We enjoyed hiking the isolated desert around the house and never saw a single person. We all enjoyed the Jacuzzi and cowboy pool. Nights were especially lovely on the back porch. Highly recommend!"

"Everything was great. Great location for National Park and Pappy & Harriets. Well appointed. But listing said garage parking available but garage was set up with ping pong table and furniture. Also couldn't see any ev charger."

"The place is lovely, tranquil and peaceful and has wonderful views. Host was great and the 3 bedroom house is very comfortable and clean. Three minor improvements would be more towels for bathrooms, glass wine glasses instead of only plastic and although there is plenty of outdoor furniture, the one area with only the bean bag could have more seating as that particular deck offers a different view . All the positives of this beautiful home outweigh these minor suggestions for improvement....

"We visited for my daughter’s 14th birthday. She picked this house so that she and her cousin could stay in the casita. They were thrilled with that space and loved having their own hang out. The four adults and one small child in our group were very comfortable in the main house. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every night! You really can’t go wrong with the location. Gorgeous vistas, right next to the playground and an awesome hiking trail. And of course, Joshua Tree NP just down the road!...

"Very nice home. Pictures definitely do the property justice. It was a great location for day trips to Joshua Tree NP while being able to come back in the heat of the afternoon for the kids to swim. Loved the hammocks for star gazing. Will come back."

"Very nice house with a private backyard! This house was plenty for my wife, two kids and myself! Awesome pool for cooling off and nice sunny area for soaking up the sun!!"

"I felt right at home here. Jesse made sure to tell me not only was my dog welcome here but so was my cat. This was truly like someone’s charished home with so much charm and character and not a sterile ikea furniture hone. Plus at night it is like Disney with all the cute lighting. All of this while feeling like you are on a ranch in the middle of nowhere yet your only 10 minutes from town. It was definitely a great place to chill and relax "

"Enjoyed the stay and the fun amenities in the unit. Property managers were responsive and friendly. Close to Yucca Valley, but feels much more removed after a little jaunt down dirt roads to the property. Beautiful views and close to the west Joshua Tree NP gate. Kids enjoyed it and we would recommend it!"

"The property was clean and the check in process was super easy. Lots of driveway space for up to 4 cars if needed. The host has some really cool unique instruments that he allows you to play and left instructions on how to do so. Location is very close to town but about 40-60 minutes from sites like arch rock, skull rock, and the hall of horrors. Overall it was a fantastic stay, we watched some classic VHS tapes like jurassic park and indiana jones. We would definitely come back in the future!...

"Getting to the property was a little challenging as there were road signs that were missing but we found Apple Maps or google maps to work ok.Gorgeous property very secluded with huge windows and open concept main living area. Nice private bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms. ( nice fluffy towels!)Nice back yard for grilling and eating under the pergola.The hot tub was lovely but had some bees that were in the cover. beautiful place to relax under the stars.There is a game room which was fun to...

"Unbelievable property and incredible, responsive property management. Communication was smooth. House is filled with amazing games and things to do. They even had a Nostalgia Edition Monopoly board which excited my 10 year old self. 10/10 would return. "

"It’s an adorable house, furnished very tastefully obviously by a creative. Johnny is a photographer and his awesome photos of Joshua tree park landscape are strewn all over the house. The house was very clean with all the amenities that we a family of 3, would need. We used the kettle to make tea in the mornings. We stayed for 2 nights but did not get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard. It’s also conveniently located close to awesome breakfast and dinner restaurants and less than 15...

"We couldn't have asked for more. The home was well appointed, with a lot of space inside and out. We fully enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor stove and patio. Only regret is we couldn't stay longer. "

"My family wanted to get out of town to see the stars, planet alignment, and just escape the city for the weekend. As soon as we saw the boulder house we knew it was the place. Not only was the house extremely unique, it had so many cool little rooms and themes throughout. On top of that, the pool and jacuzzi were heated, something about swimming in 49-50 weather with a desert backdrop makes it feel like a whole new experience. Our 2 dogs loved the openness, and if you walk the property you find...

"The best place in Pioneertown. Close to everything but set back enough to make it feel like you’re all alone. Christina was incredible about communication and everything was as advertised or better. Will be back for sure. "
