"The location was perfect for the beautiful state parks to the west and the east. The farmhouse cottage provided everything without obligating us to rent a place much larger than we needed. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep needing to be managed with care. If we were skiers we wouldn’t hesitate to return! We really appreciated Richie and Shannon’s quick response to our requests. "

"My wife and I very much enjoyed this property. It’s a beautifully rustic cabin that’s literally 20 feet above the ground in the trees. It’s set back in the woods but not far from the road and the town of Belfast. The place is well-built and very clean. You will need to bring outdoor chairs, your own towels and warm clothing if it’s in the cooler months. It was a great experience. "

"My friend and I stayed at the cabin so that we could hike at Letchworth. The cabin was absolutely spotless and I was overwhelmed by the information that Peg left. She had a binder full of local attractions and restaurants and other information about the area. I would absolutely stay again and also recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area. "

"What a great place to stay! Very clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were great communicators and provided a great environment for my visit! l loved walking around the pond, drinking from the working pump and relaxing around the fire. "

"We had a great time. My 6 year old son caught a bunch of fish right from the dock. It was a short drive to Watkins Glen. The home was nice, clean and had everything we needed. Good communication with the owner. We would definitely recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Communication with the owners was so quick and easy, and the cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin itself was really cool--rustic decor, and extremely clean. The weather wasn't great when we were there so we didn't have a chance to really enjoy the outdoor areas, but the beach, pond and outdoor bar/grill area seem ideal for a nice day. Totally recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway! "

"I booked the Stargazer for the views, the trails, and amenities of the cottage - it did not disappoint! The listing photos are very accurate, with the views being even more beautiful in person. This is a very quiet location (might have heard 3 cars pass by all weekend!) and has a "get away from it all" feel.
