"We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house is very clean, newly remodeled, there is no personal clutter, and the size is perfect for a couple or small family. It almost looks like a house that's staged for selling, everything just looks new/fresh and modern, yet very comfortable. We prefer king beds, but the queen beds were very comfortable. The only minor downside really is the fact that you can't walk anywhere - everything requires the car, especially if you want to go to a beach or restaurant....

"If you love nature this is the perfect place to be. There are many beaches and trails nearby. My husband and I saw animals during our stay that we don't typically see. Harbors seals, Humpback whale (that sadly was deceased) Turkey Vultures, Scrub jays, Red-shoulder hawk, Black-tailed jack rabbit, Douglas squirrel, Gray fox, Brown pelicans, Osprey, Sheep with even a time they were being hearded across a road into a field, and Black-tailed mule deer. "I’ve stayed at sea ranch many times and was impressed by all aspects of this home. It’s modern, has a great location close to the walk-on beach, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a gourmet meal. Five stars!"

"I play a game that if I can see whales or dolphins from inside a house, I win. Shalimere wins. Gorgeous views from the house, deck, and hot tub. Access to a beautiful private beach. The house and space is fantastic. The kitchen has all the tools you need - I always take a range of kitchen utensils and items to VRBOs, Shalimere had it all. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. The hosts, Michelle and Dave, are so communicative and helpful. We loved it so much, we are coming back next summer! "

"I stayed here with a friend for a long weekend - we enjoyed ourselves immensely! Highlights were listening to the birds, the scent of the sweetgrass, a soak in the hot tub, and using this as a home base to explore the lovely coastal towns nearby. Jess left excellent and helpful instructions. We planned ahead for cooking on the induction burners/air fryer and the kitchen was pretty well appointed. We'd recommend a visit to Point Arena for two excellent bakeries - Franny's and Pelican Bread. Also...

"Cute setup for our kids (ages 9-12), they loved the upper loft filled with toys! The place is very clean and comfortable. It’s secluded in the forest which was beautiful. The only thing was there is a rooster nearby that kept crowing loudly all early morning, so if you like to sleep in, I suggest bringing earplugs :) other than that, it’s a cute and quaint place to stay!"
