Charmante appartement

Appartement très bien placé au centre d'Amsterdam, toute était conforme la discription sur l'annonce. Sara , la personne qui nous a remis l'appart, est trés disponible et à l'écoute. Si besoin d'un renseignement, pas de soucis. Si je devrais retourner dans cette charmante ville, je prendrais à nouveau cet appart. Merci à Victoria de nous disponibiliser les cafés nespresso pour la machine.

Beautiful home in a location walkable to many area attractions, shops and cafes. The property description is accurate. Communication with the property owners was a challenge leading up to the rental period, often with weeks of delay between inquiry and response. During the rental dates communication was much improved and prompt. Our main concern with this experience was the response by the property owners when concern was expressed about the cleanliness of sheets and bath towels and general presence of hair. Responses questioning whether pet hair was present on the duvet spread or on the actual sheet and stating that out concern with hair being left on our skin when drying with bath towels had never been expressed by other guests did nothing to rectify the current problem. Being assured that he cleaning person "followed standards" minimized a genuine concern. The towels were stiff and clearly had not be dried in a dryer. Concern expressed with amounts of long hair coming up the drain with every shower and the presence of hair in the home in general was simply not addressed. We have stayed in many properties and concerns happen. This is not the issue. The concern is in the response and lack of attention to the issues expressed. It is a shame because the home itself was lovely and suited our need very well. I would love to be able to rate the property a 5 as it deserves.

Lovely Amsterdam apartment

This is a beautiful apartment in a very central location with a beautiful view out of the front windows. We walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again if I ever have the opportunity to go back.

Great long weekend!

Great location! We were there for Kings Day (which we didn’t know when we booked the trip) and it was a perfect setting to watch the festivities without being in the fray. The unit was well maintained and the owners were lovely. DEFINATELY recommend!

My three sisters

The apartment is beautiful, well-appointed and convenient. The representation was accurate. The downstairs bathroom is slightly inconvenient but doable. My three sisters and I had a wonderful time.

Terrific Location

This apartment is very easy and comfortable with the added bonus of being within walking distance to a huge selection of restaurants and shops, a laundry/ironing business, a dry cleaners, hair and nail salons, a grocery store and a drug store. It is a 15 minute walk to the central train station when you want to venture out for day trips to other cities in The Netherlands. We stayed the entire month of August 2024, and we were very pleased with the unit. It faces a canal which adds to its charm. The manager lives in the same building, and she responds to text messages promptly plus she is a huge help in recommending whatever you are looking for or any problem you are having.

Great location and lovely place.

Stayed for a few nights. Place was clean and extremely well located. Only issue is that the steps to downstairs might be a bit precarious for an older person so book accordingly.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It is very close to Central Amsterdam and about a 20-25 minute walk to the main museums. The property itself was well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful dining area and large living area, all in an open floor plan concept. Both bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows, plus extras bedding and bath towels in the master bedroom closet.The climate control worked perfectly.The owners provided bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap on each bed. The house is beautiful and in a great location. While we walked most places, Uber was readily available and competitively priced as compared to taxis. While we ate most meals out in the neighborhood, we relied on UBER to get us to locations/reservations further out of the City. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this property, and the owners were more than happy upon check-in. I would highly recommend this property, and would stay there again in a heart beat. Perfect Location

Great location. Clean, very nicely stocked kitchen in terms of cooking equipment. Lots of eateries and a grocery store within walking distnace. Victor and Victoria were excellent, communicative hosts. A great stay!

Not for young people

The pictures and "luxury mansion" name make it seem way bigger than it is, it's really just 2 bedrooms and a great room. The showers just spray directly onto the floor and don't drain properly, creating wet floors that were extremely slippy. The host has a ton of restrictions on whether you can bring people back from bars, whether you can play music, and is constantly watching through a webcam, threatening to immediately kick you out if they see anyone not on the listing enter the place. On paper, they might let you bring someone if you ask them, but we texted them and they never responded. Location was great but I felt unwelcome here and I think the host imposed too many neuroses on the guests.

Perfect stay!

This is a beautiful home in the perfect location for a stay in Amsterdam. The view of the canal from the living room is beautiful, and the kitchen is well appointed. Each bedroom has a bath attached with is very convenient. The hosts/management company were communicative and quick to respond. We had a clogged drain in one bathroom but they got it repaired quickly. Overall, a great stay, and we would return!

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment located in Amsterdam. We felt welcome and safe in this location which was quiet given its central location. It made seeing the sights very convenient. Host was very helpful once we arrived at the property. The sofa is super comfortable and great for lounging after our excursions. Thanks for a great experience.

Location is Wonderful. Communication with host is lacking.

This place is in a great location. You will feel safe and it is within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and points of interest. The beds were uncomfortable and the downstairs bed was especially so. For the price you pay to stay here, the beds should be much more comfortable. The main complaint, however, is that, although I asked the host almost three weeks early for proper check in procedures because I was traveling internationally to reach this location, the host did not get in touch with me until late the night before I was going to check in. She was so late in getting back to me that VRBO told me to go ahead and cancel the stay and look for another place to lodge. This caused me a massive amount of stress as there was little chance I could find a good place to stay on such short notice. To recap: great place! Really bad host communication.

An Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Amsterdam!!!

We just completed a wonderful six-day stay at this outstanding property! The apartment is in a renovated structure with high ceilings and lots of light. It is well furnished with every modern amenity and is well-stocked! They even have umbrellas in the closet for you to use. (Note: You will use them because it rains in Amsterdam). And the apartment's location is perfect. It overlooks one of the major canals and us a short walk to the train station, the Anne Frank house, and various other "got to see" sites. There are coffee shops and a vast array of restaurants literally at your doorstep and a major supermarket just a few blocks away. We felt completely safe walking the area even at night, which was very important. The communication with the owner Victoria and the property manager, Sarah, was absolutely outstanding. If we had any question, concern, or request they were right on it! At one point we noted that it would be helpful to have a few more hand towels. That afternoon Sarah, who lives right downstairs, dropped off two new sets. She had gone to the store and bought them for us. You will find that Sarah is a GEM! She is so warm, friendly, and helpful. She is from Amsterdam and is a terrific resource for restaurants, sites, transportation. Literally anything you need to know-- she either knows or will immediately find out. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Amsterdam than this!!! When we return, we wouldn't consider anywhere else!

Amazing Amsterdam apartment

Nice property and good location.

This is a nice property and a good location of Amsterdam. The property is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture in the seating area is very comfortable. Large windows provide a view to the canal in front of the house. The upstairs bedroom is nice, the bed is comfortable. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs and is more of a basement room with a steep stairwell and modest amenities. Electrical plugs are minimal in the downstairs area. We arrived via a river cruise ship on a rainy morning 3 hours earlier than check-in. The host wrote us in advance and said we could meet the cleaning lady at the property at 11am and leave our baggage inside, however, check-in would be at 2pm. We were fine with that solution. When we arrived, there was no key in the keybox. The cleaning lady showed up late and she had no key. We all stood outside in the rain for 45 minutes making unanswered phone calls to the property manager. Thankfully, a neighbor who lives in the building saw our predicament and allowed us to enter the front door into the main hallway where we could stay out of the rain. The property manager showed up at 11:45 and opened the door to the apartment. Outside of the issues checking in, the stay was pleasant and we enjoyed ourselves.

Great place, Great location

Very nice and spacious apt. in a great location. The hosts Victoria and. Victor were great to work with. Excellent communication and very flexible and accommodating. Only one minor issue was there was construction going on right next door. They start at 7am:(. At least we were able to start our day early. Hopefully won't last much longer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend !
