"Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit."

"Spent 4 days here with my fiancé and two friends , and we absolutely loved it, it was so relaxing and refreshing , the property is gorgeous Only negatives i have to say , if youre bad at following directions (which i was given) you end up on a very hard to pass road and will likely get stuck if you dont know what youre doing .. if you follow the owner directions properly you get a very easily passable road (like i said , my fault not theres but just for anyone in the future that makes the same...

"Put simply: I wish we would have stayed longer. The Shenandoah area is wonderful and the only way to make it even better is to have a place to call home when you are there. Our kids (ages 5 to 11) LOVED the hot tub, toys, comfy beds, and short drive to so many adventures! It helped to made our quick vacation, a FAMILY vacation. And the communication with the host was always timely and friendly. It felt like a full service set up. Wow :)"
