It is just a short walk to Stock Ghyll Force from the centre of town, or head further afield to discover the beautiful Grasmere village, once home to William Wordsworth. Why not catch one of the Windermere Lake Cruises from the nearby Waterhead Terminal on Ambleside Pier, and enjoy a relaxing trip whilst taking in stunning views of the scenery surrounding Lake Windermere?
