Villa Melos Grande is a bright and sunny three-story villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps 15 people. From Villa Melos Grande you will enjoy an incredible view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Villa Melos Grande is 250 square meters (2690 square feet). It features a private jacuzzi pool, a panoramic private terrace, two private gardens, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 750 meters (820 yards), a grocery store at 250 meters (820 feet), the stop for SITA bus Amalfi - Agerola line at 100 meters (330 feet) and the closest beach (Duoglio beach) at 2 km (roughly 1.25 miles) including 400 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area).
You will reach Villa Melos Grande from the street level going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 69 steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Melos Grande. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

Terrace
The terrace is on the top floor. It is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a bright view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Please kindly note that the stairs leading to the terrace are occasionally crossed by the owners of one other nearby apartment in order to reach their home.
Garden 1 with jacuzzi pool
You will reach the garden from the villa going down approximately 22 stairway steps. The garden is 150 square meters (1615 square feet). It features an above-ground heated jacuzzi pool with hydromassage with six seats. The jacuzzi pool is open from mid-April until the end of October (the jacuzzi pool can be heated, if requested -- additional cost applies, please enquire with our staff). The garden is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola and by palms. The garden is equipped with a masonry bench, as well as with sun loungers and an external shower. From the garden you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, of Amalfi and the coast of Amalfi.
Garden 2
You will reach the garden from the villa going down approximately 37 stairway steps. The garden is 150 square meters (1615 square feet). It is partly shaded by a lemon pergola. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline.
Top LevelVerandah
You will be able to reach the verandah from the kitchen. In the verandah you will find a satellite television (local channels), and the dining table can accommodate 12 guests. The verandah is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with handmade tiles with inlaid designs, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are bright and agreeable, and include a sofa. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the living room through a corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner induction cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is a small fireplace made of glass, for decorative purposes only. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the verandah. The room has a window that opens into the verandah.
Bedroom 1 - a suite with en-suite bathroom
This suite is made up by three interconnected rooms: a sleeping area, a sitting area and a bathroom. You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the terrace through an external access. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has two windows, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a mini refrigerator.
