Cartiera is a centrally located self-catering apartment in the only complex (The Amalfi Vacation Residence) with a pool in the heart of Amalfi town, a only 5-minute walk from the beach, ferry, bus and taxi.

It has 3 bedrooms with 1 king-size and 2 queen-size beds (on request, we can provide 2 twin beds in each bedroom), 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and the other with a shower), an open space sitting and dining/kitchen area and a small outdoor space.

The apt includes a brand new air conditioning system (July 2023), heat, dishwasher, washing machine, internet, TV, and stereo.

Apartment Cartiera is located on the first floor of an elegant building in the historic center of Amalfi. THERE ARE ONLY 20 STEPS TO REACH IT

Also at guests' disposal
- A new pool with sun loungers and towels (open from April 1st to the beginning of November, weather permitting);

- The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

- Large and beautifully furnished outdoor spaces;

The pool is located across the road from the apartment.

LOCATION
The apartment is well located just a 2-minute walk from Amalfi's shops, restaurants, and cafes while the main square, the beach, the bus station, the taxi stand and the ferries are just 5 minutes on foot.
You can easily visit Positano, Capri and all the other towns along the coast.

Parking is chargeable and starts at a rate of EUR 35 per day and may vary based on vehicle size and season.

Confirmation Policy :
For the definitive confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay (+ service fee) is required at the moment of the booking, through HOMEAWAY/VRBO reservation system.

The balance will be paid on arrival.

Check-in: any day of the week from 2.30 PM to 8.30 PM.
For arrivals from 8.30 pm to 11.00 pm, an additional fee of €25 will be charged.
For arrivals AFTER 11.00 pm, the fee increases to €50
Check-out (any day of the week) is by 10.00 AM.
A different time can be agreed, upon according to the availability

The apartment was nicely tucked away at the top of the village so away from the bustle of the other tourists. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the coffee machine and the hamper on arrival - a really nice touch. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms/towels/products offered were of a very high standard. The only criticism would be that Amalfi can be a noisy town at night time so our sleep was a little disturbed.

Fabulous apartment in a quiet part of Amalfi, 10 minutes from the front. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. A bonus was the pool, which was a very welcome cool and quiet spot to relax away from the beach and port. Would recommend.

Loved the location right on the central road that leads from the port of Amalfi through the main square of the St. Andreas Cathedral and up the hill through the town. The 3bed 2bath apartment was spacious and clean with modern conveniences set in the charming style of centuries old Amalfi. Just below the apartment is an amazing paper store, not to be missed. Along the way to town are all the opportunities to purchase goods, groceries, dining and whatever you need or want. We didn’t have a car so we paid the Amalfi Porters to bring our luggage and us to the apartment on arrival day. Staying a week really helped us get to know the town and surrounding towns. We had a pizza making excursion nearby and the Amalfi Porters gave us a ride to the meeting point when no taxi was available. It was wonderful. We took the ferry to Sorrento for the day… what a great day. We rented a boat with captain another day and stopped at little beaches and saw so much beauty from the sea point of view. We had lunch at a famous restaurant only reachable by boat. Amazing. We had a beach day in Amalfi and one in neighboring Atrani, which we walked to via the tunnel through the mountain, it only took about 25 minutes. Our last day we took a smaller ferry boat to the town of Maiori (20 minutes ride) to explore and shop and walked from there to the town of Minori and explored and had lunch, then walked back to Maiori to enjoy time at the beach which is lovely until our scheduled ferry to return to Amalfi.

Perfect place for a family to explore Amalfi!

This was perfectly located, spacious, clean, and comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The hosts were amazing and the property felt like home! We will stay her EVERY time we come to Amalfi!

Fun stay in Amalfi

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Amalfi property. It was very clean and as advertised.We requested two single beds in one of the bedrooms which was very helpful. In case anyone is traveling with teenagers/young adults, a comment to note that the beds are narrower than standard singles. We also noted a sewer smell coming from the primary bedroom ensuite the second night we were there.

Fun with family

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. A bit of a miscommunication when we arrived on where the driver should drop us off. Giuseppe met us and all was ok. The apartment was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. Bottle of wine was left for us when we arrived and a very well stocked kitchen. Easy access to the ferry for traveling around. The pool was lovely but the weather was a bit chilly to use. We did a great walk from Ravello to Amalfi. Looking forward to coming back to explore more.

Great place

Excellent location very close to ferry and bus station, plenty of places near by to eat or to buy food. The apartment has all necessary items to make you feel at home. It has great layout very spacious. Family had a great time. The host Giuseppe was very welcoming explained well all utilities and very important he walked us from the ferry station to the apartment which made a difference when you are not familiar to the area. Amalfi Vacation Top Apartment

Beautifully decorated, large and very clean apartment where you could easily stay longer with 6 people! 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room area with a kitchen and a nice table to relax outside. Above the tourist hustle and bustle and still in the middle of Amalfi. Very detailed and helpful directions (with the car) and parking diagonally opposite. Very generous welcome pack including a bottle of wine. Warm welcome from Gerardo with great tips for dinner including the Michelin Starred Glicine Restaurant situated at their sister property Hotel Santa Caterina. High praise also to Samantha and Vincenzo from the office who were very helpful and professional. The pool is really nice, good size, very clean, and the area around the pool is beautiful too, the lemon trees and greenery were so relaxing. I'd like to come back to Amalfivacation Cartiera Apartment soon

Its a nice place with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 small children. There was plenty of space for us all. The apartment was a little old and but very clean. I liked the location. Its a 2 min walk from the busy area which is great because it was quite, but you are not far away from all the shops and restaurants. Its also a short walk down a hill to the beach. Pool access was also great for the times we just wanted to relax with the kids. Great management! If there were any issues or questions they were easy to contact. If you want to stay in Amalfi and dont mind walking a bit this is the best place to stay. I would stay here again.

Great for large family

Nice location of this large unit that accommodated 6 of us. The host was always responsive within minutes to any questions or comments that I might have. The pool was perfect for the kids. There are a fair amount of stairs for those that may have any issues to bear in mind. Giuseppe met us at the marina and helped us bring our luggage to the unit. We were well take. Care of and were greeted with a bottle of wine and a basket full of snacks!

Best vacation ever!

I can't say enough about how much I loved staying in this villa and how perfect it was for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. It was beautiful, spacious, and the location was perfect for us being in the heart of Amalfi. We truly felt like we lived like the locals for a full week, enjoying all the little cafes and shops around us. The pool was also a wonderful thing to have during a very hot July. Vincenzo was so accommodating and responsive to our every need. He gave us so many wonderful suggestions and arranged so many of our reservations and transfers for us. I would highly recommend staying here!

Spacious, comfortable and clean!

We really enjoyed staying at this very spacious apartment in the heart of the village. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the snack basket provided by the host was much appreciated after a long trip. We loved trying all the local restaurants and gelato shops. My only recommendation would be that the listing include information about driving a car into the LTZ, because there are times of the day that are blocked for driving. In all, it was a wonderful stay in a great area. Thank you!

Beautiful Amalfi Apartment

Our group loved the apartment which was very spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked including a variety of snacks and condiments for our use. The location was great and very easy to get to from the port. We all felt very safe going home each night. Giuseppe greeted us at the port and showed us to the apartment as well as going through all of useful info about our place. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting and is just a short walk across the path from our entrance.

Great place

Great location in Amalfi that is only a couple minute walk from the beach/ferry/etc. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of room for 6 people. It was too cold to use the pool, however, it looked like it would be a great addition in warm weather and has a very cool garden with chairs and tables to hang out. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay!

This was an amazing apartment in such a great location. A few minutes walk to the restaurants and ferry. The apartment had everything we needed and the pool was a great spot to refresh at the end of the hot summer days. The hosts communicated well and getting access to the apartment was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Super emplacement

WOW, l'appartement et le service ont été parfaits. L'appartement est situé tout près du quartier histoirque et touristique. La piscine est un gros plus pour finir les journées relax. Le seul défi est de se rendre au stationnement mais cela est une expérience à vivre.
