"10 out of 10. The first day we were there, we were the only ones there. It was quiet. The location is beautiful. We felt like we were on our own private beach. There was someone working there. He was very kind & answered our questions while he was cleaning up washing down the kids playscape. The next day when the other cottages filled up, there were kids playing & everyone enjoying the beach. It was one of the best getaways my husband and I have had. We are definitely going back. We want to stay...

"We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

"Amaziny, cozy little cottage with everything you could possibly need. The fans really helped to keep the place cool and comfortable. My whole family got a great night sleep and couldnt stop talking about how comfortable the beds were. "

"The management was so friendly and accommodating, and the property was cozy with a spectacular view and deck right on Lake Huron! 5 stars for sure!!"

"Beautiful beach. Very nice accommodations. My wife and I enjoy the area. Had a nice time."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. "

"Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. Quaint cabin had everything we needed.Not far from Tawas, Lumbermans Monument and of course Largo Springs. There are many spots to view and visit along the shoreline of Beautiful Lake Huron(the sunrise side of the state)"

"Very clean (and quiet) property in a nice setting. Really easy to work with the property owners!"

"The house was perfect for my family's get-together. The 8 of us had plenty of space and were very comfortable. And the beach that you just walk out onto is just lovely- very clean, soft sand, crystal clear water, and not many people. We loved it!"

"We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

All of the condo owners we met were seniors just like us. Before we got there, everyone that looked at the picture said it was too far from the water. In reality it was quite the opposite. "We had a good time during our stay here. There was a little noise from the road but the cabin is very close to US23 so that is to be expected. Cabin was laid out well, and the beds were comfy and clean. It is a rustic cabin with modern amenities and it fit the bill for our stay.Would definitely consider this location again for future trips up to the East Tawas/Oscoda area. "
