"Positives are that we had lots of room in the suite, it was quiet, clean, we were able to hook up our firestick to the tv and the WiFi was fast. The front desk clerk, when we arrived, was helpful, professional and friendly. All the other staff were also friendly and helpful. The only negative was when we first got to the room it was 83 degrees in there but Will was able to reset the thermostat and it eventually cooled down and there weren’t any other problems. It was just a slight inconvenience...

"Cute Inn and excellent rooms. Our room was in an older house across the walk. Beautifully decorated, they thought of everything and it was very comfortable and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was decent although a bit pricey but happy to have a meal on a Sunday night when everything else was closed. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Inn is right on the water and my son was happy to hop out of the car and start fishing while I checked in. Would stay here again."

"Clean. Okay price. Decent breakfast. There were some shady people staying on our floor. The next morning while we were having breakfast and packing to leave multiple police (3-4 officers) showed up and eventually took one man out in cuffs. So we didn't feel the safest."

"It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch.."

"Very cozy cabin, nicely decorated. There were many extras provided by the hosts such as tea and spices and soaps. We took advantage of the firepit out front. No cell signal but wifi and roku provided. We had a lovely visit. Confirm that linens and towels are provided. We did not see that on the listing but did receive an email from the hosts that we needed to bring our own linens. Maybe it was because it was off season."

"I could go on and on about how great this property is and how wonderful Donna is, but I think everyone else has already said that. This beautiful property was built in the 1800s and has history with her family. The house has a story and honestly, made it extra special. It was also very nice to come get a hot bath in a whirlpool jetted tub after running 34 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re going to Abingdon.
