"Excellent wilderness location for those who enjoy scenic outdoor activities.House was extremely well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds.All appliances were modern, clean, and worked very well. Broadband internet was excellent speed and reliable.Communication with host was excellent and helpful throughout the stay.Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a nice, relaxing getaway. "This is a great property in the Ozarks! Although its off the beaten path, it was worth it. The property had roaming horses (6) of them. They were such a joy to watch and pet! We did not see the owners during our stay, but knew they were close if we needed anything. Over all the stay is something we would do again. I will say that we as guest vould ha e been better prepared for outdoor cooking by bringing charcoal and lighter fluid lol. We will be back"

"It's a beautiful cabin and the owners are very responsive and helpful! My only complaint has nothing to do with the property or owners, but the noise from the park (which is across the road...awesome if you have kids in tow!) in the late evening/early night is a little irritating (not kids playing but people meeting up with systems thumping and revving engines), but it tapered off by 10-11PM. So if you are an early bird like me I recommend bringing a sound machine, fan, or ear plugs! Other than...

"I usually stay closer to Eminence when I am in the area for float trips. I decided to try going a little further south and find something a little nicer this year. I’m glad we did because Stormy Mountain Ranch was much better than any place I’ve stayed around Eminence in the past. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. "Super cool house! We had a wonderful stay. For over 100 years old she got good bones. We never use our dining table at home but we had family dinner around the dining room table. It was just Casey’s pizza but family dinner nonetheless. Bed were comfortable. Just all around a very nice old house! "
