"The perfect little place...just outside of town."

"We enjoyed our stay at this quiet lake house. Lots of extras that made it very enjoyable and cozy. The canoes and kayaks were great way to enjoy the lake. Loved seeing the turkeys, deer, and chipmunks each day in the yard and neighborhood. "

"The place was very nice, plenty of room for my two sisters, my mom, and I. Two main floors bedrooms were greatly appreciated for my 93 years old mother who doesn’t do stairs well anymore.The place was clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities like coffee, shampoo, dishes, towels. Arte was very helpful when we had car trouble and thought we would have to stay an extra night. Would stay here again."

"Beautiful cabin fully supplied with everything we needed. Very comfortable, the couches are awesome! Our family of 6 adults enjoyed the hot tub and the space! The front porch is perfect. Wish there were clear views of the river from the cabin but loved the quiet nature! Highly recommend staying here! Easy access to Crystal Falls, Iron River and all the parks in western UP!"

"Great property. Close to our friends and town. The cabin had just about all the amenities needed to feel like home. Peaceful, nice home. We really enjoyed staying here and will potentially do it again. "

"Stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had a blast! Artur was responsive and helpful. The property is dog friendly as right out your front door you can walk some remote streets. The place was stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. As the listing states, the internet and cell phone connection is not strong, so the DVD collection was clutch! We’ll be back! "

"Another fantastic week at the Homestead in the Beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We spent the week fishing, boating, playing games, eating and drinking til our hearts were content! "The property was clean and as described. 4 full beds is nice for my family if 5. Owner was quick to respond, manager was once his cell was shared. Had an issue with the fridge not working and they were quick to make it right but it was cold outside so it wasn’t necessary. Just want to make sure it gets fixed for the next person. "

"Cozy place. Hyper clean. Location couldn’t be better for town access. Our host made everything easy to navigate. House rules were simple an, made for an easy stay. We stay up here several times a year for all activities. Usually with friends. Sometimes it’s just nice to have your own space. The Lighthouse is perfect for that. We’ll definitely stay here again. Looking forward to the upstairs project so, we can bring our whole clan!"
