We opted for breakfast delivered to our room and there was such a lot, bacon sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. The cabins are laid out in such a way that you forget you have neighbours, so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing night away. The only faults (if I really dig deep) are that the fire pit area could be better landscaped so you don’t walk bits back in to the cabin or get dirt in the...

"Would be difficult and unfair to offer any negative comments about this accommodation. Even better as a positive comment is the property does NOT allow Pets! Excellent. Additionally the private parking at the property is superb. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning to the property in Wooler. "Lovely, clean property in a great location. Everything as expected and house nice and warm. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. "Fabulous cottage in a quiet setting. Airy and light & welcoming. Nice big dining kitchen with (more than!) everything we needed. View from sitting room over the hills was lovely. A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area."

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. "A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. "Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. The garden area was spacious and the hot tub was amazing! The hut itself was very cosy and toasty when the log burner was on. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. "We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."

"Nice property, overlooking the sea and harbor. The front entrance isn't intuitively obvious, and there is limited parking, although a pay & display across the road is offered too. The rooms are reached through a series of corridors and it is up and down. The decor was dull and the room needs more lighting, especially the bathroom. Overall it felt like a guest house from 20 years ago. The food was average, breakfast being the worst selection of warm (not hot) food I've had for a long time....
