"Very well situated"

"We love this place but it is getting tired. The maintenance is in need of an uplift and the rooms and lounge areas need a refit. Still a lovely stay and Sindhu was excellent for lunch. The reception staff for the hotel were OK but lacked motivation to welcome their guests with any enthusiasm. Breakfast was excellent and the setting for the hotel sets this apart from most."

"A nice clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The pillows were overly firm, a "pillow menu" is available but we arrived late and decided not to use this. The air conditioning actually workd and cooled the room to the point where I had to increase the temperature and turn don the fan speed. The breakfast tasted amazing, nicely cooked food that hadn't gone dry even by 9:30! All big wins - thank you"

"We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified. We had an evening meal which was pleasant, staff were good but I can’t say over welcoming, the bedrooms were clean, well presented but only had one hand towel, one packet of biscuits and no full length mirror. "Hotel antigo quarto minúsculo extremamente quente sem ar condicionado , todos os dias tínhamos que pedir as toalhas e o gel/ shampo pois não reponham , o pequeno almoço só tinha pão de forma, muito pouca variedade e não reponham o que acabava, o hotel não tem condições para o valor que cobram não voltarei nem recomendo a ninguém, os funcionários pouco simpáticos ."

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"The rooms need at least an option of having more light. I get the theme for the hotel, but still - the lack of light in the room was deeply inconvenient. The most disappointing part was the pool area. When I visited in 2022, the pool setup was absolutely amazing for summer - cocktails in a very elegantly done Moroccan themed poolside. "Hotel was great full of character, breakfast was expensive for basic standard breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very large, which was great as I took 3 teens ghost hunting. Very dog friendly"

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "
