"We stayed for two nights 4th and 5th June as we were attending a wedding elsewhere on 5th June. The first night was fine but on the morning of the 5th the hotel advised we would have to move rooms as they had a wedding at the hotel and the bridegroom had specifically asked for the room we were staying in. "A beautiful old property in a quaint location - the staff were excellent, particularly the chap on reception & the waitress who served us at dinner (which was yummy) - nothing was too much trouble for either! Breakfast was great, though they had run out of decaf coffee but fortunately I had some with me for such eventualities, so no problem. "Hotel was great full of character, breakfast was expensive for basic standard breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very large, which was great as I took 3 teens ghost hunting. Very dog friendly"

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "
