"What a stunning part of the world this is! We stayed in 2 adjacent properties as an extended family of 14. The property was beautiful, in a picturesque location with all you would need for a get together of any kind. We came up to Aberdeenshire to scatter my Dad's ashes in a nearby village and it was the perfect balance of remote and within travelling distance of Aberdeen and surrounding areas. I can't recommend the property and the area/location highly enough"

"What an amazing location to stay in the Speyside area and in Dufftown. My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. Two bottles of whisky with an honour system touched off the whole experience for a couple of nips late in the evening. The rooms...

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. "

"We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!"

"for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones."

"Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative.
