"The room was pretty clean apart from the fact that it was damp probably due to the carpet. The hotel definitely is a bit outdated. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience. Enjoyed the pool and bath tub!"

"Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel is new and well-maintained, which made a good first impression. The room had a nice amount of space, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept well. However, there was an issue with the hot water one morning. We waited for almost an hour, but unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved in time, and we had to take cold showers. That was a disappointing start to the day. Aside from that, everything else met expectations."

"Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street. "Property is in a great location, close to cafes and restaurants. Just a short walk to the waterfront. Parking was included, which is a great bonus and property owners are very responsive! This is a historic building, and has characters of the age of the building, most units are only accessible by stairs."

"Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites was exceptional, clean, quiet, and unique. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Rooms were amazing with service everyday to replenish water, coffee/tea and towels. Easy access to downtown and the public gardens across the street were amazing. Parking was easy and accessible."

"We checked in very late, close to midnight due to our flight, and received a less than warm reception. But after that, everything was great. Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed more towels and shampoo. And everything was clean and comfortable. One thing, though.
