"Fantastic property. Quiet yet close to so many things to explore and do. The house is exactly as described. It has the best mattresses we ever had in a vacation property. The kitchen is so well equipped. We loved to sit on the balcony off the top floor bedroom and watch the world go by. The host is extremely nice. So quick in responding to any question and very helpful. "

"Overall, the house was amazing. The beds were quite comfortable. The atmosphere was amazing. The only thing, for me, was that I was unable to draw the curtains in the master bedroom. But, we found a work around. It was a great stay!"

"Nice cabin. We had problems with internet connection and some lights didn’t work in the upstairs bedroom. Also no soap or shampoo in the downstairs bathroom. No worries really. We’d definitely return. "

"This place is beautiful. Every time we walked into the living room we were struck in awe of the windows...it is a live landscape that is stunning."

"We spent 3 days with 3 generations of family and friends celebrating a 90th birthday in the family. The home is convenient for visits to Taos and surrounding area. We had plenty of room for 9 adults. The home is quiet with beautiful views from the house and large deck. We took full advantage of the gas grill and gourmet kitchen to prepare meals."

"The property was beautiful and it felt wall the comfort of being home. It had everything you needed and more. I look forward to our next stay."

"We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico."

"The perfect escape from humid E Texas. Great weather. Coffee on the patio every morning in sweats and shorts after brunch. Lazy drive to shopping/dining (is NM doing a passive aggressive protest of TX speed limits?), so stock up since you won’t want to leave anyway. This house makes you want to rent it for a month and write your novel"

"Clean property and nicely equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, BBQ, laundry facilities). The location is quite remote (a grocery with fresh fruit/veggies is 30 minutes), but centrally located to visit Taos, Santa Fe, and Los Alamos."

"We had 3 families. The young adults stayed in the casita and the parents stayed in the main house. We were able to host a brunch and were very comfortable. "

"Our stay here was perfect. The area, magical. Communication with the owner couldn’t be better - they are a true gem! The house offers privacy, is immaculately clean, has gorgeous light, is stocked with all the essentials and has the most wonderful patios with views. It offers peace and quiet, and bird watching right from the patio. It’s so dark at night that you can see the Milky Way. A nice break from light and noise pollution. There are nearby trails in the community where you can watch...

"Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took."

"We loved everything about this sweet place. The yard and garden is so serene and peaceful. And the house is as cute as it could be. The location worked well for side trips to Abiquiú, the local wineries were fun visits, and all of the locals were friendly and warm. Highly recommend. "
