"We loved our couple of weeks at Totara Bach. The property is exactly as described. We stayed in winter and really enjoyed the fire. The bach is well heated and very comfortable. There's no dining table, rather gather around the kitchen island.Very comfy beds, great shower, nice hosts who live next door."

"Warm (mega heat pump), safe and convenient - with retro brown vinyl and amber textured glass for a big dose of kiwi nostalgia! Sunny outdoor deck with a BBQ, and lots of room to run around. The washing machine overflowed which was attended to promptly by the friendly property manager. Incredible panoramic views of Lake Wanaka and surrounding maunga. Walk over the road and there’s the path around the lake. An easy stroll into Wanaka town too."

"Driveway was very steep and my elderly mother slipped on her way down after it rained and ended up getting stitches to her head, 2 black eyes and bruising to her ribs and shoulder. I think that you should mention this in the description so people would know that access isn’t easy."

"We stayed in the house for two nights. It’s clean, however the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all! It’s very inconvenient. We contacted the service team several times but still not work. No hot water for the first day. No hair dryer."
