"Great place to stay. Staff very friendly, apartment was cleaned daily, the building was spotless and we loved the little coffee shop. We went for breakfast every morning. Pool area was beautiful and the views across Albert Park were spectacular. If you’re a sun lover, there’s not enough sun beds for the amount of people staying. We didn’t let it bother us though. Had a great time. "

"The Cullen is a lovely hotel, it’s just starting to show signs of age and wear. The balcony that we paid extra to have was dirty, the furniture just an old cracked table and 2 dirty plastic chairs. The penthouse is so nice, it is a shame that there are cracked pavers on the balcony, some are raised and are a tripping hazard. It a sad to see the hotel not being maintained. "

"In no world is this a 5 star hotel. It was a bit run down and cleanliness could definitely be improved. I would have been ok with it as-is as a 3 star hotel, but with the expectation of 5 stars, it was disappointing. "

"Felt very at home in this leafy first floor apartment. Extremely close to the Astor Theatre. Communication re parking was a little unclear but we figured it out. Excellent for attending concerts and so on in St Kilda and surrounds."

"A basic but very adequate hotel. No bar and no restaurant (except for breakfast) but honestly you don’t need those when in this area - there are so many eateries and drinking establishments in the vicinity. The rooms are very large and spacious with good showers - absolutely fine hotel in a great location. Not luxury but very comfortable- would stay again. "

"Room clean. Reported leaking tap in bathroom. Not dripping but continually running and unable to stop it. Couch comfortable. Bed comfortable but not stable. When partner turned over in his sleep the whole bed wobbled. Had a beautiful meal at Dad Vietnamese restaurant around the corner. Easy walk to Prahran train station "

"Location is ideal if you are attending any sporting events as it is on the border of AAMI park with easy access to Rod Laver arena and beyond. Richmond and all the bars and restaurants is just a corner away. I was very happy with the location. There is some road noise at night but nothing that limits your sleeping."

"Our stay was excellent! Not a single thing to complaint! Room look new.. very clean.. amazing shower.. comfy beds.. towel dryer.. They have inroom continental breakfast wich is ok and you can park right at your room door. Special thanx to Tarun and Federica. Gentil, very friendly and helpful. What a staff!
