"I stayed at Baymont by Wyndham in Elizabeth City, N.C over Memorial Day weekend because it was listed on Expedia I honestly regret it. Since it was a holiday weekend, most other hotels in the area were fully booked, so I didn’t have many options. The room was absolutely disgusting. The couch had blood stains and white stains on it, the dresser was missing knobs, and there was black mold around the toilet and bathtub. "Jet spa was nice and warm on a cooler spring weekend but the jets were not working. Pool was clean but cool. The Lifesaving Station food was good and the wait staff was great! Fireplace in our room did not work and despite notifying staff on Friday evening when we arrived, no one ever came to work on it by the time we left Sunday at lunch time. The resort hosted a fairly large (200 guest?) wedding Saturday, and there was a lot of trash left all over Sunday morning. "

"Room requires general maintenance, bed in acceptable condition, towels worn out due to use, insufficient heating even when the thermostat is set to maximum temperature. Hot breakfast with omelette with cheese, fruit and cereal."

"We've stayed here multiple times and have found it perfect for us. We get poolside rooms, because they are all 1st floor, ocean side can be 2nd floor (no elevator).You literally walk through a breeze way and your on the beach. Staff are friendly, restaurants are in walking distance and pool is kept clean. We highly recommend!"

"Place was nice and close to everything. Even walkable if you feel like taking a stroll. Had all you need for comfy stay. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and balcony was nice. Breakfast was not bad. Your typical hotel Breakfast but had it all. Pool was very nice. The beach was nice too, but be prepared for a journey through deep sand at entrance point. Parking easy. Staff very nice. Elevator situation was interesting but I just used the stairs to main elevator. Nice beach hotel."

"It was so clean and bright inside! It made me feel happy even though it was rainy outside and a bit gloomy. Loved the attached restaurant with the amazing pizza! I walked just 13 minutes to get to downtown Manteo and that was a lovely walk. Close to sights like the aquarium and Festival Park. Staff was super helpful too!"

"They were newly renovated nice updated clean rooms. No elevators which if you were an older person might find challenging to bring up luggage to your room!"
