We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the area is beautiful and peaceful, the villa is spacious, comfortable and reasonably well-equipped with a lovely pool, though some of the kitchen utensils have seen better days. Vittoria was very kind and helpful and suggested lots of lovely restaurants for us to try.
My only criticism is that it is very expensive for what you actually get, the villa is semi-detached, and the garden and pool are across the road, although I did know this from the property description, it is quiet only leading to other houses, with a few cars and tractors using it. I was very surprised to find that on arrival only 3 beds were made up, we were a party of 6 and wanted to use all the beds, which is why I booked a larger villa. Vittoria was slightly reluctant to let us have more sheets and towels at first, though it was all sorted out quickly. Having paid to book the whole villa, I did not expect sheets and towels to be rationed, as the price we paid would have been the same for 10 guests anyway. I have a holiday let myself and always provide linen for the beds, whether or not the house is full, people don't always want to share a bed! However, I would like to reiterate we really enjoyed our week, and had great fun playing table football.
