"Hyatt was never disappointed! The location is absolutely perfect, directly to the downtown and the Riverwalk. All the main attractions are close to the hotel. The staff is very polite and receptive! The only negative point is the breakfast options, which are very limited, it's not a continental breakfast, but "local" Tex-Mex. "

"I usually stay at the Menger but wanted to see what the Crockett was like. I very much liked the room and the proximity to the Alamo. Most of the staff were lovely. The front desk is lacking in staff and our initial check-in was less than friendly. I also would like other travelers to be aware of the late, 4:00, check-in. Our room was not available until nearly that time. I felt like much of my time was wasted as I had to return to receive my room key. The front desk clerk at that time was...
