"My brother and I loved our stay at Akaroa’s Historic Shipping Office. This delightful accomodation is clean, comfortable, cosy and has everything needed for a great visit. Close to the water, cafes and shops. Wonderful to see such a historic building being both preserved and able to be used and enjoyed by visitors. "

"We loved the waterfront location, especially during the quiet season. It is a lovely little apartment. The main bedroom has a wonderful outlook, as does the very comfortable living area. We also enjoyed our croissant breakfast on the balcony!It would have been helpful to know in advance that the kitchen facilities were rather limited, although the Russell Hobbs bench oven was helpful. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here."

"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "

"Location is fabulous! Many lovely walks. Over to beach, down or up a couple of blocks in distance and then back along estuary or visa versa. Very tidy accommodation with everything you need. It was great to have the garage to use to store our bikes. Bottle Lake great for mountain biking not too far away."
