The Space:
Wildlife Haven by Tiny Away is located in the Gladstone Region of Queensland. This peaceful farm stay is just 15 minutes from the beautiful coastal town of Seventeen Seventy, and close to local favourites like Agnes Water Tavern, Garden Café, and Agnes Water Beach Holidays.
Here, Queensland’s holiday homes here offer restful and relaxing stays in a cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings, but not any further toward the main house.

Wildlife Haven by Tiny Away is nestled in Agnes Water, just 15 minutes from Seventeen Seventy — a seaside town loved for its beaches and fishing. With Avondale, Bundaberg, and Hervey Bay all within 1–2 hours, there’s no end to the adventures you can plan!

Getting Around:
By car:
- 1 hr drive from Avondale
- 6 hours drive from Brisbane
- 2 hours drive from Hervey Bay
- 4.5 hours from Sunshine Coast
- 1.5 hours in between Gladstone and Bundaberg
By public transport: There are flights or trains to Bundaberg, then a bus to Agnes Water.
Other Things to Note:
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- No smoking is allowed on the property as we are a smoke-free property
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
Safety guidelines
- Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear
- Guests are advised to wear long, loose pants to avoid snake bites
- Please do not wear open-toed shoes when roaming around outside
- We recommend guests wear closed-toed shoes such as sneakers or boots
- Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland (or grassland) areas
