Set in prime position in the picturesque Damnoni area, a wonderful beach resort on the south coast of Rethymno, the Villa is conveniently located exactly in front of a lovely small cove with sand & rocks, where you can get isolated and within just 600meters away from the famous beach of Damnoni & its cafes and local tavernas.

This captivating home boasts a wonderful outdoor area and is embellished with a heated plunge pool with hydromassage facilities (3x4 & 1 meter depth), a lounge area by the pool, as well as an outdoor shaded dinning area. Grown-ups can lounge to their sun loungers before idling back for al fresco barbecues (Charcoal BBQ facilities & sink) under sunset skies. An ideal holiday escape for those who seek summery living.

*Water temperature of the plunge pool can reach up to 28 °C degrees, depending on the outdoor temperature.

*Fishing gear (2 fishing rods) is available; Fishing gives you relief from stress, makes you feel free. “Freedom” is what you experience when you go fishing in the clear blue Cretan waters.
*Beach Equipment: with eight sezlong chairs & two parasols that are our guests are more than welcome to use at the beach.
*Fitness Equipment is available: exercise mats, weights, exercise ball etc.
*For our guests there is the possibility to rent a boat with skipper - which could be delivered in front of the villa- upon request, weather conditions & availability, with additional charge.

Location Overview

Isla beach house is located in Damnoni, exactly in front of a small cove with sand and rocks, where you can get isolated. Damnoni it is a popular tourist resort, very well developed and organised. The beach that stretches in front of the resort is a long bay with beautiful turquoise waters and coarse whitish sand. Here you will find all the services of a well organised beach such as umbrellas, snack bars, showers, changing rooms, water sports, scuba diving centre, taverna, one horse riding centre etc.

Also Plakias 5km east, is a sea front village, that can be reached within 6 minutes by car and has a sandy and very well organised beach with sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, etc. The rocks surrounding the beach are ideal for fishing and snorkelling, as well. The road along the beach is also ideal for walking or cycling. Along the main road of the village there are several supermarkets, bakeries, ATM machines, post office, a doctor’s office, restaurants, tavernas, cafes and beach bars while on the beach there are tamarisk trees, water sports, beach volley courts, snack bars and other shops offer a very wide range of products, including local and traditional goods.

Also the well known beaches of Schinaria and Ammoudaki, which are definitely considered as the beauty of the south cost, are close and can be reached within a 10 to 20 minutes drive.
