As you do so, let your gaze wander time and again through the wide window front out to the pool, over the olive groves and the rolling countryside, all the way to the sea.



Step out onto the spacious terrace and spend the day basking in the Cretan sun. The private pool lies directly in front of the house and, with its magnificent views, is the perfect spot for a refreshing dip. Afterwards, relax on the sun loungers or find a shady spot under the pergola. Dine together outdoors here and, over breakfast or dinner, enjoy the view across the unspoilt countryside to the Libyan Sea. All around the house, olive trees, rocks and Mediterranean vegetation characterise the peaceful surroundings.



From Agia Galini-Melampes, explore the varied south coast of Crete. Visit the charming little harbour town of Agia Galini with its tavernas and narrow alleyways, or spend a day swimming at the nearby beaches. Take a trip to the famous Palace of Phaistos and discover the island’s Minoan history. You could also drive to Agios Georgios beach or go for a walk through the stunning countryside around Melampes.
