"Great cottage in a beautiful Irish region - we were greeted by Sean who showed us around the property. Great welcome and very pleasant cottage. Amandine Martine et Pascal"

"Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay. "

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin."

"a great house for a relaxing holiday in Ireland. The house is wonderful as a base for excursions in the northwest of Ireland. The house is equipped with everything you need, we got an apple-pie as a welcome-present and every question we had was answered. Would love to come back sometimes :) Thank you!"

"We loved the property and EddieJoe is as they say ‘the genuine article’! We were surprised to find the cottage stocked with essentials and more .. we did not need to run to the (very nearby) grocery store. Loved the location and the fact that this is a working farm. I cannot recommend the bog tour enough. I had read about it and had been to bogs before and did not think I would be that impressed or enjoy it as much as we did! "We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. "This is a little gem in the heart of the countryside. Great comfortable beds, very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Excellent location to see the county. Very helpful hosts who made our stay all the better.Highly recommended."

"The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. This is a place to be highly recommended and it comes with resident donkeys. One could not ask for more. Warmer and sunnier, maybe. But hey, it's Ireland! We did have some sun!"
