"This 15 room motel was simple, quiet, and a great space for my husband and I to get away for a couple of days for our anniversary. We got a King bed lake view room (def. worth the extra $) because you can sit on the deck and watch the sun rise/set. There were a variety of people staying--families, singles, couples, and everyone we met was nice! Things to be aware of-- the lake or something around our hotel had a bad smell at times--the first night I noticed it the most, but night two it had...

"Poorly run business. Single wooded chair in eating area - no table. Exterior smeared in dirt and spider webs. No real chairs to view the lake. Poorly outfitted interior."

"Gentleman at counter was very good and personable, we enjoyed talking with him.He wore many hats there. We stayed 3 consecutive nights and not once was the room serviced. Rooms need updating. Low cost basic room is what you get."

"This was by far the worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at. The room was not clean when we arrived—we found long black hairs on the bathroom floor and in the shower, which immediately made us question the cleanliness of the room. The hotel also appears to have maintenance issues. The room door was noticeably out of square, leaving a large gap where we could see people walking by in the hallway. "The hotel is definitely dated, but is so convenient to major highways in the price was reasonable. I would stay here again."

"Booked and paid through Expedia. When checked in obviously had to put down security deposit. When checking out I noticed two pending charges from the hotel and just left it alone assuming they both would fall off. One did not come off. Contacted hotel to resolve and got no resolution so has to file dispute with bank. Other than that it was fine."

"This is a beautiful pet friendly hotel in a lovely and quiet area overlooking Lake Erie. Our room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Jenny checked us in and could not have been nicer! I will definitely recommend and return."
