"Very clean room and the ac was excellent along with great pressure water and great hot water. Down fall for me was the walk down to the lake and up the lake. It was too steep to walk - I also noticed that there were a lot of people that seem to own the units across from the motel and they would take over the lake and since the lake area was so small we could not enjoy it much. Super close to town and that was a plus. 5 min by car - 😉"

"It is more like someone’s timeshare apartment than a resort. Online check in, use mobile phone to communicate. Be aware! You need to take out your own trash and NO housekeeping services. They make you sign an agreement online before arrival, if you fail to comply their rules, you will be charged. Entire resort only us, then they stick another new check in next to our townhouse. "Long-Time Repeat Guest — 4 Stars Instead of 5 Because of One Terrible Family We’ve been coming to Marine Village Resort for the past 8 years, usually a couple of times a year, and have always enjoyed it. The staff are consistently helpful, the rooms are clean, and the AC works great (nice and cold when you need it). The beachfront location in Lake George Village is hard to beat. What dropped this stay from a 5-star experience was one horrible large family that made the whole place miserable....

"Upon arriving I was told my reservation was not found and booking through a 3rd party (Expedia) it sometimes cancels on its own. After some “searching” they found it and said I got the last room. When I finally got into my room the lock would not work and this was a problem since I’m a single mom with young kids. I was told it’s fine you need a key to unlock the door and only the staff have access to this. I was very unsettled and not heard. I had to prop a chair under the handle for safety."

"The hotel was in walking distance to all the village attractions, shops, restaurants, and beach. The room was generally clean. The shower water pressure was strong; however, the bathroom faucet water pressure was low. The staff was very friendly and courteous."

"The room was clean looking. Only half of the outlets worked. Our TV never worked despite multiple promises of repair. The bunk bed was broken. The property is very run down. The only breakfast offered was coffee from a 10 cup pot which we were told had a limit of 1 cup each. We had a telephone on the overnight table not connected to service. Wi Fi was so weak, our phone provider was used instead. Air conditioning could not cool rooms until the second day we were there. Ran them continuously ...
