"It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. The tent was a good...

"Access to the Schroon River was nice to cool off in, but overall the rental was not worth the money we paid. When we first arrived, there was garbage left over from previous guest. There were missing pans, so we had to borrow a pan from the general store. This property listing was very inaccurate. It says there is heat, wi-fi, a dryer, air conditioning, and 2 bathrooms on the property, but in reality they are talking about the public restrooms at the general store 0.4 miles down the road which...

"Absolutely stunning spot, the first night we were a little worried about the canopy being very open with the front not zipping shut and the bottom being open all around but we had no issues whatsoever not even a worry. Totally awesome all around!"
