  • `Bassett Cottage` is a recently renovated 3-bedroom stone cottage right in the heart of Gawler South. With each bedroom set up for comfort with individually controlled heating and cooling, this stay is ideal for tradies, groups or families with secure off-street parking, enclosed yard and pet-friendly. Next to the train station and tavern (great pub meals), 15 min walk to the Main Street. 5 minute walk to McDonalds. 45 minutes from the city/airport, 20 minutes to the Barossa Valley.

    Enjoy all that Gawler has to offer, staying at `Bassett Cottage`- our heritage-listed (160-year-old) 3-bedroom, newly renovated and modernised stone cottage right in the heart of Gawler South. Each bedroom has been made comfortable with its own heating and cooling, ‘amazing sleep’ koala mattresses just right for contractors, tradies, groups and for families. Featuring Jarrah wood floors throughout and a fully applianced kitchen with an easy meal-preparation area, main lounge area, plus separate extended living area (off the lounge room), stylish modern bathroom, a 4-seater dining table, and a convenient tucked-away laundry alcove with modern easy to use washing machine and tumble dryer.

    Nestled in Gawler South this cottage retreat is ideal for family vacations or friendly reunions, for attending local events and weddings, and for providing a perfect home base for easy access to Gawler and also exploring the Barossa Valley, Adelaide, and the Adelaide Hills, being only a 5-minute drive to the Northern Express Way/Gawler Bi-Pass and the Sturt Highway- and easy access to the city and airport. (45 mins drive away)

    Please ensure that the TV remote and air conditioner remotes are not removed from the property, and you will be charged at replacement cost if found missing upon checkout.
