The villa was clean and the area around it was well maintained-paths swept, pool maintained, filters cleaned, glass viewing panels washed. The pool was warm and clean, and deep.Cooking utensils were limited with none suitable for use with the non stick pans.A large piece of palm tree fell and narrowly missed my head. Had it landed on one of the children, it could have caused serious injury. Perhaps the gardener’s maintenance regime could be updated to include an inspection of the trees and these dangerous pieces be removed.Communication with the host was non-existent until our flight had landed in Tenerife, despite me having sent messages requesting check in information. Only once on the island were we contacted with details, all of which were fine, but considering there is a review on this site describing a family arriving and not being able to access the property having had no communication with the host, it was a stressful ‘leap of faith’ that all would be well. It would be worth insisting that the host company or person communicate with the clients, who have after all, paid up front for the accommodation outlines the procedure that they will be contacted on the day of arrival with instructions.I think the villa is overpriced.
