"Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding.
The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish!
Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. "

"Took my family here for a much needed getaway for my postpartum wife. It was perfect. Having the river directly behind the cabin was amazing for the view and swimming (great fishing too), it was closer than I expected and the waterfall nearby was such a nice ambient sound. Buddy the dog was the first dog I’ve seen mine really bond with and take a liking to in years, he’s super friendly on his odd travels around the property. "The property in Bancroft was even better than the photos and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home such as towels, pots, pans, a kettle, cutlery..... I was there with my 3 year old son and was so pleased to find out that there was a beautiful playground right across the street and within a close walk we attended a community concert that is held each Wednesday night. "Overall, our stay was wonderful. The lake is clear, the cottage is clean, and the manager was quick to respond. That being said, the photos (you cross the road to get to the dock) and information (the dock is shared) are misleading. I just wish I knew this information beforehand. That being said, the neighbours were great and the road was quiet, so we really enjoyed our stay."
