"Deer were in back of property. Maggie and the owner were both very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and heat took a while to warm up though we slept warm. Hot chocolate was really good. Also, both the Scottish breakfast and the pancake breakfast were good."

"Our hosts took such good care of us, arriving on a wet wet day they prepared the hot tub for us, organised a late dinner at most excellent pub in walking distance through wonderful countryside for delightful delicious home cooked food . Sleep was very comfortable and breakfast a knock out in presentation and selection. "

"Sehr schönes Haus, mit viel Liebe und Geschmack gebaut und eingerichtet. Vermieter/Eigentümer wohnt nebenan, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ausstattung des Hauses ist neu und sehr gut. Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer grandios, ebenso aus dem Hot-Tub (37 °C) auf der Terrasse. Strontian ist ein sehr kleiner Ort in den Highlands etwas abseits der touristischen Zentren, sehr angenehm. "My wife & I stayed here for a week in June/July with plans to walk in the neighbouring countryside. The property was in immaculate condition and had everything we needed (including a hot-tub). It is indeed, an amazing construction (insulated with straw-bales) and gave us perfect privacy. The host was very welcoming and was on hand if we needed anything else. Top marks to him.
