"Alexis and Angelo were wonderful. The space is gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and it was easy to find. There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. Casa Santangelo is a wonderful stop in Salerno if you want to get away from the crowds of the hotels with easy access to ferries, restaurants, and other sites. "

"Property was ok. Think more needs to be made of the internal stairs going to flat. They are very deep and steep. We were all over 75 and managed them but with luggage it was daunting. We stayed 10 days and would have appreciated clean sheets and towels half way through. Very little in the way of cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom. We had to request a broom and mop. None of this got too much in the way of a wonderful holiday. The apartment is difficult to find but local shopkeepers...

"Claudio and Giovanna were lovely hosts. They were there to greet us and showed us around the property so we felt at home straightaway. They helped us find things we needed locally and even booked us a table at La Baita (local restaurant). "This villa was perfect as a home base to the Amalfi Coast and Cilente. Very open and clean. Bathrooms are updated, grounds are beautiful with fruit trees and flowers. Wally was our daily greeter, adding to the charm. Ida was very responsive and helpful with her recommendations. Emilia, her mom was very nice and made a delicious apricot tart for us to enjoy during our stay!"

"When we found this villa on Vrbo, it was described as an oasis at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast and on driving through the gates we found this to be totally true. "Riccardo was an excellent host and answered any questions we had very quickly! The property is clean and spacious and a great starting point for day trips out to the Amalfi Coast.
