If you are planning a visit to the area to celebrate a wedding, enjoy the wine fields, or to go hiking or mountain biking, then our Casa Fumanal Hotel is the perfect place for your stay.



The Space:

We offer you a unique and special place where you can relax and unwind in any of our ten rooms, all designed by contemporary artists who have given it their personal touch. Staying at our property offers you the space and privacy of renting an apartment while keeping the amenities and private rooms of a hotel. Each of our rooms has its own style and excellent views, private bathroom, heating and free WIFI.



Breakfast is included as well. Continental breakfast including coffee, orange juice, herbal teas, pastries, toast, ham and cheese.

Lunch and dinner is available upon request. The dinner cosists of a first course, main course and dessert. The kitchen cannot be used by guests, there is a professional chef that will prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner (if requested).

The bar is open at agreed times. All kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served.



Featuring 10 unique rooms and 10 bathrooms, accommodating up to 24 guests, we offer a special experience for people hosting events or wanting plenty of space in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains. Located next to the El Grado reservoir, from its excellent location you can enjoy nature in its purest form at any time of the year. Casa Fumanal is located in Abizanda, which is about a 3 hour drive from Barcelona and a 2 hour drive from Zaragoza. There is no television in the rooms, but we have a wonderful internet connection. There is no air conditioning. It is the Aragonese Pyrenees and it is not too hot yet. We use aerothermal energy that cools the rooms if necessary.



Also, if you love art, you can enjoy our art exhibitions and see the works of leading contemporary artists. Each room is decorated and furnished differently by the artist, so you can truly experience their work. At our hotel, you can also enjoy quiet moments in our library, where you can find a wide variety of books donated by writers who have visited us.



If you are planning a work meeting or a social gathering in a calm and welcoming environment, our hotel is the perfect place to do so. We offer you a small community environment so that you can focus on what really matters.



In addition, thanks to our excellent location, you can enjoy nature in its purest form at any time of the year. The Ainsa and Abizanda area is known for its natural beauty and is ideal for hiking or MTB. Casa Fumanal is located near various natural parks perfect for hiking, such as Ordesa and Monte Perdido. It is also a wine region, which makes it a perfect destination for wine tourism. It is also very close to the D.O. Somontano winery.



In general, our hotel is the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature, peace and the beauty of the Ainsa and Abizanda area. The Casa Fumanal is an oasis of peace and tranquility, where you can relax your body and mind in tune with the environment.

Hey there! Some important info for your upcoming stay:



- Keeping things smooth:

For your comfort we will answer you in your preferred booking platform's chat on workdays (mon-fri 9:30 am to 6:30 pm). Outside those hours our call center is at your service for phone calls for urgent matters. All other matters will be handled as soon as it is possible or picked up the next working day by our team.



- Heads up, we don't have a reception, but we're here to make things awesome for you!



- Check-in: Anytime after 3:00 PM. If it's past 6:30 PM on weekdays or it is the weekend/holiday, don’t worry! We have a key drop-off service.

Late check-in fee (excluded from the price) 30€ after 21:00 / 50€ after 00:00.



- Check-out: Always wrap things up by 11:00 AM.



- Before you make moves to the apartment, give us a call about 30-45 minutes before. No app calls or texts please, just hit us up with a regular call.



- Need help with bags? Check out "Luggit Service" - They can pick up your belongings and deliver them at 15:00 at the apartment, so you can explore the city in the meantime ;)



- Remember to send over IDs of all guests before arriving. It's a local rule we have to follow.



- Make sure outstanding amounts are squared away before you check in.



- Don't forget about the tourist tax – it's 5.50€ per person per night, not included in your initial booking payment. For all the arrivals dated from APRIL 1st, 2024 onwards -independent when the guest has booked- this fee is 6.05€ per person per night (council news!).





- Baby on board? No problem! We've got free baby cots, but give us a shout when you book. For the safety of your baby, there are no sheets, pillows or additional mattress in the cots, only the regulated mattress that comes with all travel cots.
